We all know the feeling of walking on soft and silky carpets within our abodes. It is because of such carpets and carpet tiles that we can roam around freely and carefree in our house and that too bare footed. Hence, it is quite important to cause and ensure that we have the best quality and comforting carpets in our homes. Not all carpets are appropriate or suitable for residential purposes. For commercial usage, there are different forms of carpets. Residential carpets are not only designed and manufactured to provide comfort but also to add beauty to the overall scheme of the house and décor. Carpets (notwithstanding whether they are used for residential or commercial purposes) can be broadly categorized into three segments, namely needle felt carpet, loom produced woven carpet and tufted carpets.
Carpets vary drastically in color, design, and pattern and are usually installed or laid from wall to wall covering the entire flooring of the area in question. By way of example, loom produced woven carpet are generically of numerous colors with sophisticated and exotic patterns and designs.
It needs a lot of research and dedication to learn about the various forms of carpets and its installation techniques for different areas of a residence. Hence, you need to plan and take an informed decision. For a small and dark and dingy room, a white or light colored carpet would be the best choice. Having said that, white or light colored carpets are not advisable in case you have many kids and children as they will keep getting it messy and dirty and cleaning and maintenance costs and efforts would be endless. Hence, it will be more appropriate to choose a dark and natural colored carpet for a home with kids and children, for the obvious reasons that it can hide the marks and spots and will not look hideous. Moreover, the natural colors can easily gel in with other colors which are surrounding the room and hence it will not be a problem if down the line you decide to change the color scheme of your room. Bright and funky colored carpets (if that is what your taste and liking is) are liked by everyone and can brighten and lighten up any surrounding or area within the house.
Once you have installed a carpet in your home you need to cause and ensure that it goes through routine and consistent cleaning and repair, as and when required. This will ensure that the look, freshness, beauty and color of the carpet stay on for long.

Do you think there's sometimes a siginificance behind people's favorite color... whether it be red, orange, black, blue, yellow, grey, white, pink, purple, etc. Or maybe it just catches their eye for some reason? Since kindegarten children you have been asked what their favorite color is yet at the same time were being taught that every color is beautiful. Any thoughts or opinions on this? They want to know what color appeals to that person on a normal basis. I would pick a dark forest green. Alot of the times its just a color that makes them feel a certain way.
